Dear Ambi, I feel extremely guilty in watching this column, every time 'o' comments accusingly staring me in the face. I used to have an old diary, which besides my hand-written manuscript of 'Gurbani' contained english translation in verse of selected works of 'Galib' and 'Iqbal' including some more popular verses from 'Gurbani'. This diary went missing during the last rites of Surjeet. Its unrecorded contents could have ably filled this column. Nevertheless I have penned down some stray thoughts since then. I venture to offer these as a poor sustitude. To follow.......
